Today I am thankful for Oaklawn! If any of you know me, you know that I am a horse racing fanatic!!! I love horses in general and think they are such a beautiful animal. Also, I love all the tradition and pageantry associated with horse racing. Growing up in Hot Springs, we had several friends who were jockeys and trainers. I go every chance I get and love introducing people to the races who have never been before. Last year, was the first year that I have gone out in the infield. It was a beautiful day on Derby Day and it was so fun to be so close to the track! Hopefully, I'll hit some big races this year!!!
