Week of Fun Firsts

Ending our first week of PreK in our Roberts shirts.

Glow Yoga Friday night.

My glow sticks

And body paint.

Salsa night at Brownings(we were just spectators). Swear this was just like a scene from "Along Came Polly!"

As soon as I saw these I knew I "needed" them. Got them yesterday....a love!

I watched this documentary last night, after being a vegetarian most of my life, I am now attempting for the month of September to adopt a plant-based diet. We'll see how it goes....I have some stomach and female problems so it will be interesting to see if I see any changes.

My first week of school is in the books. I have some precious kiddos!!! All in all it was a good week. I do have a challenge this year. I have a student who is developmentally delayed in speech, cognitive, self-help and social-emotional skills. In a nutshell, it's like dealing with a 2-3 year old in a classroom of 17 other kids. There is a lot of crying! Please pray for him and I. That I will have the wisdom to know what the best thing to do for him is and that the help I am trying to get him will be beneficial.

This weekend I have run a lot of errands, done a little shopping and tried to relax. Looking forward to a long weekend next weekend and enjoying some QT with my fab momma and at the lake.

Hope all is well....

Home Sweet Home

My niece Harper on her first day of Kindergarten. She is the first born of my nieces and nephew. This makes me kind of sad, but look how precious she is!!!

Some of my new cute kiddos on Meet the Teacher night.

Missing me some Wyoming!

Front door is ready for football season. WPS!!!!

Getting some sun with my sweet girl on Saturday.

Great trail run and hike at Pinnacle mountain on Sunday.

Lake Maumelle.

We made this for the kids, but thought the teachers needed their pic in it, too!

The first week back has been a bit of a whirlwind. I got back and started working feverishly in my classroom to get everything ready. I was worn out this weekend and just rested. It was so great to be at home in my house! I loved every second of this summer, but now that I'm home it's really nice to be back!

Today was the first day of school. I always forget what babies they are! We had a great day, but I know I'll sleep well tonight.

Hope all is well.....
