The sign over the bar.
The beautiful centerpiece in the barn.
The open air chapel where they got hitched.
We picked this blackberry on the mountain...it was yummy!
Me on top of the mountain.
The view from our cabin.Today I am thankful for nature. Sometimes nature can make the most beautiful decor. My friend Barrett and her fiance got hitched this weekend. It was such a laidback, fun wedding weekend. They got married at Camp Mitchell. We stayed at a beatiful lodge that overlooked the farm where the rehearsal and reception were held. The centerpiece in the barn was to die for (think Anthropologie) and all the other details were perfect. It was so fun to chill out all day Saturday and enjoy the nature around us. We hung out on the rocks and just kicked it with the amazing view almost all day. The weather was kind of on and off all weekend. It started raining right when the ceremony started. Sitting there in the open air chapel looking out over the mountain while it rained was amazing. As soon as the ceremony ended, the rain stopped and it was time to party. The barn and tent were fabulous! My favorite part was that they had told everyone to wear cowboy boots and I would say 75% of the people wore boots. It was so muddy that they came in handy. I wear cowboy boots at least 3 days with just about anything. It is just part of my style, whether or not it is in or out for others. The wedding was just what Barrett wanted. So happy for The Feltus'!!!
Hope all is well....
